Busy card weekend

A few fun creations I made this weekend. Most were challenges from Gina K's StampTV.

So proud of our boy.. he got THIRD PLACE for his Art at this festival!

Today is Art Show day!

We will be heading out in a bit to see what our little boy has created. As many know, his art piece was chosen (out of many) for display at a local Woman's Club Art Festival in the town next to us. We are so excited as we haven't seen his art yet. Funny thing, HE doesn't even know what it is either LOL Pics to follow soon.

Purrr-fectly Delightful Blog Hop!

How thrilled I am for 2 reasons.
1. I am invited to join this blog hop
2. I can finally show you all my cards with my KITTY who finally came home to me.
Many of you know the kitty and I bonded the minute the snippet came out. I had to have him and he is adorable.
The card to the left was made using the gerber daisies and just a bunch of fun DP and ribbon. So versatile, I love being able to have such a nice size flower stamp like this one.

You can't have a cat stamp without a mouse right? I think this mouse is sort of cute but mischievous at the same time. He just wants to get in trouble. I decided to get creative here and perhaps a little silly. I used the mouse and sugar bowl from Purrr-fectly Delightful and all the other stuff from "Have a Cookie" stamp set. I just thought it all worked well together.

And my favorite for the end, MY KITTY! I added those gorgeous flowers because I have fallen in love with those too. I had those flowers at my wedding. So pretty!

I used copics to color the cup and everything pretty much. I am not a copic pro, I am very new and learning as I go. (feel free to leave any tips or ideas on how to improve please) I did do one cool thing, I popped the flowers with the sticky pop things (that's a technical term according to my 4 year old stamper in training) and it gave it such a neat shadow effect, I was happy about that.

Well that's all for my blog on Purrr-fectly Delightful. And I am more than delighted to be a part of this exciting night, although I am probably driving home from work right now as its about 11 something EST, *I'm a hotel front desk clerk* and can't be on here now to see everyone's blog but I will be tomorrow! I am thinking of you all falling in love with Theresa's beautiful new stamp set. She is such an amazing artist and I thank her for creating this kitty for me, (yes me personally hahahahaa) and for inviting me to join in on this blog hop.. I am TICKLED!!!

My prodigy

My 5 year old son in Kindergarten has become quite an artist. Here is one of his pieces he has already created and brought home. We are anxiously awaiting to see what is on display this weekend as another piece of artwork was chosen for a special Art Festival sponsored by the Women's Club of a neighboring town. SO EXCITED and VERY proud.

A fun box I made from Gina K's StampTV weekly Inspirational challenge.

I know sometimes you just need a place to stick your stuff, from postage stamps to coupons, its all getting lost on my desk and I am tired of it. Now I have a way, (a fun way) to get organized.

Want to join in on the fun? You can have a Get Organized stamp set too by just popping over to see Gina K and purchasing one for yourself. It comes in a super kit for StampTv that will blow your mind. The StampTV Kit has everything you need to make beautiful designs and TWO stamp sets in it. I just love mine and I feel it has now become a staple in my life. LOL Anyway, do you want to make this beautiful box yourself? You can and with the help LIVE from Gina K.

Got the ICKS!

Well fellow stampers I am sick. Don't come to close to the blog LOL My kids had some sort of bug last week and now I think I have it yet not the same exact form of it.. I'm spared the puking. Thank you GOD because I hate to puke. I am hoping the end is near and I am going to feel better soon. This really sucks. I hope everyone stays healthy. On a positive note, this is doing wonders for my diet.

Blog Building

It is coming along well, I am getting all my little fluff added to the blog a little at a time. I think I like the way it's turning out. I will be getting some cards up soon. I am very excited about something special this week but I can't say what, it has to be a surprise!!!!

New Year.. New Blog

I created a new blog. Why? Because I felt like it. That alone should be enough. I know I know, I worked so hard on the old one but ya know what? I needed to start fresh and with the knowledge I have now I will make a nicer, bigger and better blog.

I beg of your patience while I get things up and running with a whole new bunch of cards and beautiful scrapbook pages.

In the meantime.. don't just sit there GO STAMP SOMETHING!
